Minnie is a lovely 12 month old female cat who is in desperate need of a loving home. Minne came to us after she had been left behind at a rental property after the tenants vacated the house. Animal shelters were too full over the busy summer period to take her, so when the landlord asked us if we could help, we couldn't say no!

A feline form of the AIDS virus is killing cats at an alarming rate and until now, there has been neither cure nor treatment for the disease. It is reported that between 7% and 29% of cats test positive to infection, many of which die from FIV related illnesses in Australia each year.

Surgical sterilisation of pets is recommended if they are not intended for breeding. The benefits to society include less unwanted animals requiring euthanasia, less feral animals and therefore less pressure on our native animals.
