Our Puppy Preschool Program is now up and running for 2012 at Malaga Vet! If your puppy is aged between 6 and 14 weeks and has had at least its first vaccination, then we invite you to join us!

Here at Malaga Vet, we value the significant impact that positive early socialisation and a solid foundation in training and behaviour for both puppy and owner, has on shaping a puppy’s future adult behaviours. That’s why our new program, based on the teachings and techniques of world renowned dog trainers allows us to ensure the relationship you build with your dog is a life long bond.

Our unique training program focuses on socialisation, good manners, owner education; leadership, communicating with your puppy, toilet training, play biting, health issues such as fleas, heartworm prevention, intestinal worming, and much more. Our qualified Veterinary Nurse Tarryn Sandler has designed the classes to cover all the essential things that new puppy owners need to know.

Classes run for 4  weeks on Tuesday nights (7pm-8pm) at the Malaga Veterinary Hospital.  The cost is $99 per puppy which is inclusive of all materials, hand outs and graduation pack.

We are committed to using only positive rewards based training techniques and teach you how to apply these techniques appropriately in order to ensure that you are well on the road to establishing a well mannered canine and best friend, whilst having a great deal of fun along the way!
